Hi, I'm Yair.

I'm a Toronto photographer. I shoot weddings, couples, and events — the big days and the good nights — for people who'd rather be photographed living their lives than performing them.

My background is in candid, documentary work. I came to weddings and events because they're the rare occasions when almost nothing is staged and everyone is paying attention. I work light and fast: usually one camera, a couple of lenses, and a roll of film when the light asks for it.

Expect warm, true-to-life colour, a few black-and-white cinema frames, and photographs that look like the night actually felt. Not flashy — the kind you find yourself in a year later and realize you'd half-forgotten.

I'm based in Toronto and shoot across Ontario, and I'll happily get on a plane for the right one. Tell me what you're celebrating.
